I bought a watch from a second-hand store but the battery needs replacing. It is a simple analog watch on a leather band. Is there a way to figure out how to open the back of the watch and change the battery on my own or do I need to take it to a jeweler?How do I change my watch's battery?
while it is fairly simple to open it, if it's water resistant, it can be difficult to get it closed again w/ the seal in tact and proper;y placed. if you don't have much experience w/ this, most places will do it for you when yo ubuy their battery, tho the battery is over prived as opposed to getting it at home depot of the supermatket.
